Yesmeen & Danny. I connected with Yesmeen from the very beginning. We always say it's not as important to connect with wedding vendors like your florist or your baker but you definitely need to connect with your wedding planner. You are going to be spending so much time with them. While it is important that they translate your vision correctly and you like their style, it's also important that you like them and want to be around them. It would be a long, hard process if you don't care for your wedding planner and it's a labor to even chat on the phone. I did not have this problem with Yesmeen. From our first conversation, we were talking about how she and her fiance were making the move from California to Colorado. It was on from there!
Yesmeen and Danny were married in Breckenridge, Colorado at Ten Mile Station. They were married during my favorite time of year to have a mountain wedding, fall! The colors are amazing and there is a certain chill in the air right before we get a ton of snow. We really spoke to that time of year with all the colors and flowers. Think jewel tones, burgundys, greens, blues, gold. Sarah at Ladybird Poppy does some of her best work playing with colors and textures. I don't know why but when a couple says they are having a fall wedding, she is my go to florist. I always love what she comes up with. And for the wedding reception tables, Yesmeen did something that I have since recommended to a few of my couples. She bought scarves and used those as table cloths. They give a big impact at a low cost. Great for any wedding budget. And you can use them again after the wedding is over! Yesmeen also made personalized flannels for her girls. Talk about cute!
After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio under the September sun. It was a gorgeous evening! Fred from Great Time DJ kept the tunes coming all night. It was such a great day! Thank you Matt + Jess Photography for capturing the day!
