There’s something especially meaningful about working with local couples. As planners based in the mountains, we spend so much time welcoming destination couples to Colorado, so getting to celebrate two people who already call Summit County home always feels extra special. Caroline and Alex’s wedding at the Silverthorne Pavilion was the perfect reminder of why we love what we do.

Their day felt warm, effortless, and deeply personal from start to finish. It was the kind of wedding where every detail reflected not just a beautiful celebration, but an incredible community surrounding the couple. Friends played meaningful roles throughout the day, laughter came easily, and the entire celebration felt relaxed in the best possible way.

The Pavilion was the perfect setting for their mountain wedding style: elegant without feeling too formal, welcoming without losing any sophistication. Floral design by Garden of Eden brought beautiful texture and color into the space, creating an atmosphere that felt romantic while still completely approachable and true to Caroline and Alex.

Caroline looked absolutely stunning thanks to the team at Divine Beauty Artists, whose hair and makeup artistry perfectly complemented the effortless mountain vibe of the day. Every candid moment, emotional glance, and packed dance floor memory was beautifully captured by Doug Treiber, who documented the day in such a natural and genuine way.

One of our favorite parts of this wedding was how many friends were woven into the celebration itself. Their DJ, Tropical Waffle, kept the energy high all night long and made the dance floor feel more like one giant celebration among friends than a typical wedding reception. Their officiant, Craig Simpson, delivered a ceremony that felt incredibly personal and heartfelt, the kind of ceremony that has everyone laughing one minute and tearing up the next.

Guests enjoyed an amazing dinner from Biscuits and Berries before heading to the photobooth from Hampton Entertainment for plenty of late-night fun. And of course, the beautiful cake from The Cake Maker was the perfect sweet finish to the evening.

A huge shoutout also goes to Katelyn from our team, who led day-of coordination and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Weddings like this run smoothly because of thoughtful preparation paired with calm, attentive execution, and Katelyn made sure Caroline and Alex could truly relax and soak in every moment.

Caroline and Alex’s wedding was such a joy to be part of, a beautiful celebration of not only their relationship, but also the friendships and community they’ve built here in the mountains. We feel incredibly lucky they trusted us with such an important day, and we’ll be smiling about this one for a long time.
