Molly & Gabe. I call them couple my unicorn couple. Specifically, my unicorn bride. I worked with primarily Molly during their wedding planning process. Why do I refer to Molly as a unicorn? Molly gave us creative freedom to really plan her Keystone Ranch Wedding. She gave a vision at the beginning then said to run with it. And run with it we did. During one of our conversations it was decided that we really love hanging floral installations. There is something so romantic about a ceiling dripping with flowers. We wanted this look to go over the head table only. The rest of the space would have antler chandeliers to really give that Colorado mountain wedding vibe. This was a challenge because the size of the group required us to use a specific tent. With this tent, it meant that we couldn't hang the instillation just anywhere. The head table either needed to move to where the tent could accommodate or we couldn't do the hanging installation. We had to come up with a plan. This is where I enlisted the help of Erin Ashley Designs. I had multiple conversations with her to come up with a result that I think was more stunning and impactful than our original idea. Erin built the florals to extend over the table without ever needing to hang from the ceiling. It was genius. Why do I tell you all of this? Being a full service wedding planner all of this back and forth with vendors such as the rental company, Colorado Tents and Events and the florist, Erin Ashley Designs, is our job. We become an extension of our clients and we go to bat for them to make the best possible day. That way our clients can focus on their lives and not need to worry about logistics. Molly and Gabe gave us a vision and we figured out a way to make it a reality. It was really fun to take an idea and no matter how many set backs, come up with something great and in some cases, better.
Molly and Gabe began their wedding weekend at the Stables in Keystone for their rehearsal dinner. I think the stables are such a great way to have everyone together, have dinner and avoid doing the wedding before the wedding. It is a laid back feel that welcomes cowgirl boots and handkerchiefs. It's a BBQ dinner so something completely different than what guests would enjoy the next day.
For the wedding day, Molly and Gabe welcomed guests to the Keystone Ranch in Keystone, Colorado. Molly's family has been coming to the Ranch for years and years. Sharing what they love with their friends and family is exactly what they had in mind. In true Molly and Gabe fashion, Molly and Gabe walked down the aisle together to start their ceremony. Molly's brother provided the music for the ceremony and Phil Gallagher performed the ceremony. From there, guests moved up to the tent for cocktail hour. There they listened to the music from the John Trucelli Band. After dinner, toasts and a cake cutting, guests continued to dance the night away to The John Trucelli Band. It was such a fun evening. Thank you Once West (formally IN Photography) for these awesome wedding photos!
"I can't thank you enough for helping us put together Molly's dream wedding. It was so beautiful and so much FUN! Best of luck to you in the future!" ~Rita (Mother of the Bride)
