Laura & Ryan hired us after booking their wedding venue in Keystone, Colorado, the Keystone Ranch. I'm not sure the ink was even dry yet from the Keystone contract before they were talking to us. Laura knew how important hiring a wedding planner was so they could hit the ground running with wedding planning. They had a shorter timeline than normal. We had four months to plan their wedding from start to finish. No problem! :) This timeline can be stressful but it honestly peels back the stuff that doesn't matter. When you plan a wedding that is one to two years out, there is a lot of time to think about things. That is great but it can make you second guess decisions. Trends can even evolve which makes your original plan not exactly what you would like anymore. We have to look on the bright side of planning a wedding in four months and that was it! Time to plan!

To my surprise, we really had our pick of wedding vendors. We were never really met with the 'sorry, I'm booked' answer. I like to say that the stars aligned for these two! We always talk about priorites when first working with a couple. Then we are able to spend money in the smartest way possible to get the most of the budget. Wedding photography was one of their top priorities. After reviewing websites and checking on availability, Laura and Ryan decided to book Daylene Wilson Photography. There were a couple other vendors we needed to book to make this wedding really come together. Garden of Eden for florals and Elite DJ for all things music. Now we were ready for a wedding!

The day was pretty rainy all day. To the point we held off until the last minute for a first look. Normally we like to have the first look at the barns at the Keystone Ranch. To save time, they had their first look right outside the doors at the Ranch. Which was perfect! Once they had their first look, they headed to the barns for some photos before the rain really set in. Come ceremony time the rain actually held off so these two could say their I do's outside on the lawn. It was a perfect Colorado wedding ceremony and a celebration of family and love! Congratulations to Laura and Ryan!

Fire, a paradox of creation and destruction, has been both a vital resource and a potential disaster throughout human history. From the controlled flames that warmed early settlements to the industrial furnaces that power our modern world, fire's utility is undeniable. Yet, the specter of uncontrolled flames, capable of transforming landscapes and lives into ashes, remains a constant threat. Understanding the risks and hazards associated with fires is not merely academic; it is a crucial imperative born from the lessons etched in the charred remains of past catastrophes. https://dahlcore.com/blog/f/understanding-the-risks-and-hazards-associated-with-fires
