Sarah and Brien’s wedding at the The Aerie felt like one of those days that perfectly balanced mountain elegance with an incredibly fun energy, which honestly feels very fitting for Copper weddings. Guests rode the gondola up to the venue, surrounded by those sweeping alpine views that somehow never get old, no matter how many weddings we get lucky enough to plan there.

One of our favorite things about this celebration was how personal everything felt from start to finish. Nothing about the day felt overly formal or “staged.” It felt warm, intentional, and genuinely centered around the people they love most. Those are always the weddings that guests remember long after the weekend is over.

Sarah looked absolutely stunning thanks to Raquel Chacon Beauty, whose hair and makeup team created a look that felt polished while still completely natural and effortless. The floral design by Garden of Eden brought in soft romantic textures that complemented the mountain setting beautifully without competing with the scenery outside every window.

And speaking of personal touches, one of the sweetest details of the day was that the photographer was actually a friend of the couple who owns Partners in Crime. There’s always something special about having someone behind the camera who already knows the couple so well. The entire gallery felt candid, emotional, and full of the kinds of moments that can’t really be forced.

As the sun started to dip behind the mountains, the energy shifted from emotional ceremony moments to full-on celebration mode. Diamond Empire absolutely packed the dance floor all night long. One of the things we loved most about this wedding was how ready everyone was to celebrate, the kind of crowd that barely needs an invitation to get out on the dance floor.

Katelyn from our team led the day-of coordination and kept everything moving seamlessly behind the scenes so Sarah and Brien could stay fully present throughout the day. From timing logistics at the gondola to managing all the moving pieces at the venue, she made sure the experience felt effortless for everyone involved.

Weddings at The Aerie always have a little bit of magic to them, but Sarah and Brien’s celebration felt especially memorable. Between the mountain views, incredible vendor team, and a dance floor that never slowed down, it was the kind of wedding weekend we’ll be talking about for a long time.
