I had the absolute honor of helping plan the very first wedding at The Aerie at Copper Mountain, and it was nothing short of epic.

From the moment guests arrived, the adventure began. A scenic gondola ride whisked them up to the newly unveiled venue, perched high above the village with panoramic views that made jaws drop. The Aerie is Copper Mountain’s newest wedding location, and it delivered on every front: modern design, incredible light, and a setting that feels both elevated and intimate.

But the magic didn’t stop there. To kick off their wedding weekend, the couple strapped on skis and hit the slopes together. Yes—they skied before their wedding. It was the perfect way to start a celebration that reflected their adventurous spirit and love for the mountains.

The ceremony and reception were overflowing with thoughtful, unique touches. Garden of Eden created lush floral arrangements that brought softness and romance to the rustic-modern venue, and Ski The Day captured every emotional, windswept, joy-filled moment through both photography and video. Their work was stunning—authentic, dynamic, and full of life.

When it came time to celebrate, Elite DJ kept the energy high all night. But before the dance floor officially opened, the couple surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance that had the crowd cheering. It was bold, fun, and so uniquely them—a perfect reflection of their personalities and the energy of the entire day.
