Morgan & Bob. I had to work with these two the moment I met them. I won't go into detail but there were some health issues that involved Morgan that just touched my heart and I wanted to do anything to make this lovely person's day. Ugh, writing this now gets me choked up all over again. So when I got the call that they chose me to be their wedding planner and help them with their wedding planning journey, I was over the moon. Then, we hit the ground running!
Morgan and Bob were married at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge, Colorado. Our fabulous Day of wedding planner Emily worked the wedding and made sure everything we had planned, ran smoothly. I would have given anything to be there but as luck would have it, my baby's due date was the very next week. I didn't want to become a bad wedding story where the wedding planner goes into labor as she is sending the bride down the aisle. Could you imagine?
Before the big I do's, we had to enlist the 'best of' wedding vendors for this wedding. To start the day with making this bride look her best, we hired the ladies at Weemala. Let me back up. We even had one of our meetings during Morgan's hair and makeup trial. I think the meeting should have lasted about 30 minutes but I was there for about 2 hours. Morgan's mom was there and I found out where Morgan's gets her sweetness and sense of humor. It was just the 3 of us and of course the hair and makeup ladies, Jess and Kelly. There was so much laughter and even some tears. I could have hung out with those ladies all day!
But back to the details! For the wedding ceremony, the very talented Mary Keener played the harp for a romantic feel. One of my favorite people who also happens to be a florist, Larkin Owens, provided all the flowers for the special day. Weren't they stunning?! Those ceremony 'alter' pieces were everything. Such a touching moment was when Morgan walked down the aisle arm in arm with her dad. And if you have been following along with our blog at all, you know that's my favorite part of a wedding! I'm a sucker for a special moment between a bride and her pops. After Morgan and Bob's I do's, guests had a blast the rest of the evening dancing to everything Jason from Elite DJ played.
