Carbondale Colorado Wedding Planner | Avalanche Ranch Wedding | Kat & AJ

"When we began planning our mountain wedding, living in Denver, we knew we would need a wedding planner. The first thing that intrigued me about DME was their connection to the community and the smaller companies that they do business with. They are on first name basis with all of their vendors from the owners down to the servers. Cue Johnna and Ebs . I can understand why every one loves them so much. They are personable, dynamic and you kind of just want to be their best friend! We chose to go with the full package because we both work full time and wouldn't be able to make the wedding of our dreams come true without a little help. They were the perfect choice! They took our ideas and made them a reality. They gave us the most magical and beautiful wedding that was straight out of magazine (I might be a little biased). On the day of I had nothing to worry about except marring my man and getting to be with all of our friends and family. Kat and AJ. Ok, you need to get ready for about a thousand wedding photos. There is no way I could limit these photos to my usual 15 photos in a blog post. Not only because Kat and AJ are amazing and that I had the pleasure of planning their wedding but also because they had the picture perfect wedding!! These two were married at the Avalanche Ranch in Redstone, Colorado. Where is Redstone? Right next to Carbondale. Where is Carbondale? Right next to Aspen. Now that the geography lesson is over ;) on to the details! We had a team of amazing vendors come together to pull off one of my favorite weddings! Starting out with the flowers. You will see from the amazing photos below by Nat and Cody Photography that they were to die for!! Studio Z Flowers did an amazing job. We went to them with a hanging installation idea and they far surpassed our expectations! Katy and Zach from Suite Talk rocked the party with their viola/violin duo for the ceremony and DJ skills for the reception. The food was outstanding from a caterer out of Aspen, Conundrum Catering. All of our rentals and tent were from Colorado Tents and Events in Silverthorne. And last but not least that cake. Urg! It was not only stunning but tasty! Katy Pierson Cakes killed it with her mad baking skillz. It takes a village! My favorite moment from this wedding was surprising Kat and AJ with the song Ramble On by Led Zeppelin by another one of their best friends, Annie. Annie spent weeks learning that song. And Annie hates Led Zeppelin. Ha! So when they went to walk down the aisle, after being married, Annie played their song. It was magical. If only all of my weddings could be exactly like this, I would be in heaven!!! Thank you Kat and AJ for trusting me to plan your wedding and come up with some of my all time favorite decor!!
