Marisa and Peter. We started working with Marisa and Peter waaaay back at the beginning of the second quarter of 2020. And if you know anything about that time in 2020, you know that the world was set on it's head with everything going on. So to talk about a wedding that was more than a year away, was more than welcomed. I think working on this one really helped get away from the reality of everything going on and get back to what we love which is wedding planning in the mountains!! So on to the details!!
When Marisa and I first talked, she had mentioned that they hired Keller Williams to play their wedding. Yes, THEE Keller Williams! How cool is that?! And the vendor list just stayed that awesome with everyone we hired :) These two were married at High Country Lodge which is up Peak 8 in Breckenridge, Colorado. It's the perfect setting for a Breckenridge Wedding. Not too far from town just up the hill enough to get those amazing mountain views. The wedding group started their day in the best way possible. They used the tent that would later become the dinner/dancing tent (provided by Colorado Tents and Events) to have a yoga session led by Leslie Ross. The day was gorgeous but definitely had some Colorado weather blow in. First was the rain (notice how Marisa embraced it. Love her.) then came the winds. So much wind that the maid of honor and best man had to step in to keep their arch from literally blowing away! The very talented Carla at Garden of Eden provided all the beautiful wedding florals. And finally Gillespie Photography was there to capture the entire day. And I just can't get over that shot of Marisa embracing that rain. It's everything. It really made our wedding planner hearts' sing :)
